Popham Woods is sited on 183 mostly wooded acres less than two miles from magnificent Popham Beach. The expansive site has been carefully designed by an experienced team of land use consultants, landscape architects, and civil engineers. The tasteful homes are being clustered in five neighborhoods, using the natural features of the land to enhance privacy.
The varied topography of the site includes mature trees, ledge outcroppings, a small pond and wildlife bog, a rare pitch pine forest, and old stone walls.
Approximately 130 acres have been preserved for wildlife habitat, bird watching, and trail hiking. The Popham Woods trails connect to the extensive network stretching for miles throughout the Phippsburg peninsula. Hike to such beautiful spots as the Seguin Island Lighthouse overlook to the north, and the vast Morse River marshes leading to Popham Beach to the south.
